The Whispering Oaks Garden Club was founded in 1973 to promote knowledge and interest in home gardening. It is affiliated with the San Antonio Garden Center and is a member of District VII of Texas Garden Clubs.

The group meets regularly and tours the community to designate a 'Yard of the Month' which receives a yard sign and also recognition in the WOHA newsletter and the marquees near both tennis courts.

The Garden Club regularly publishes informative articles in WOHA's newsletter, The Whispers, providing advice on shrubs and trees that help keep Whispering Oaks green and beautiful. Click the images to learn more.

Monthly meetings are held in varying locations each third Thursday from August through May. Full membership is open to all residents and non-residents may register as Associate members.

The Garden Club is not affiliated with WOHA and operates completely separately. Dues paid to one organization do not apply to the other. For more information or to become a member, please email the Garden Club President, Pam Harrison-Martinez.
